It has been a busy Monday and Tuesday! Yesterday we finished out fourth sound book in jolly phonics and did a review of the sounds that we learned. We have been focusing saying words slowly, one sound at a time. Kindergartners are beginning to use what they know about sounds to blend words! Today we blended:

Yesterday we did Gingerbread math! Students rolled a die and each number corresponded with adding eyes, nose, mouth, buttons, hat, hair, skirt or pants. Today I read
The Gingerbread Girl and we acted out the story of the Gingerbread Man with masks.
